The Eastern Shore Anglers Club will have a Children’s Fishing Day on June 1st 2025 at Morley’s Wharf fishing pier. Fishing runs from 1PM to 2:30PM and registration starts at 12:30PM with a free picnic after fishing!
Anglers Club will hold a 2nd children’s fishing day at Saxis Pier on September 21st 2025. Fishing runs from 1 to 2:30PM. Registration starts at 12:30PM with a free picnic after fishing.
Anglers Club will hold a 3rd children’s fishing day at Kiptopeake State Park on October 11th 2025. Fishing runs from 1 to 2:30PM. Registration starts at 12:30PM with a free picnic after fishing.
The Eastern Shore of Virginia Anglers Club (www.esanglersclub.org) will hold THREE free fishing events for children. June 1st, 2025 is scheduled at the fishing pier at Morley’s Wharf and the second on September 21st, 2025 at the fishing pier at Saxis and the 3rd free fishing day is scheduled OCT 11th, 2025 at Kiptopeake State Park. The club will provide equipment/rods and reels and bait as well as members to teach and assist young anglers from 1 to 2:30 P.M. This will be followed by a FREE COOKOUT! Registration begins at 12:30. Children ages 3-15 are welcome to attend and have to be accompanied by an adult. THERE IS NO FEE! Rods, reels, bait and tackle will be provided to the first 50 children. There will be T-shirts and trophies! The Eastern Shore Anglers Club is trying to let our youth explore the fantastic world of fishing. For more information, call 757-824-1485.
